02-16-12: Some really strong songwriting has been taking place in the Chemical Tree rehearsal space these last couple of weeks, and for those who have asked when the next Chemical Tree album will be coming we do have some answers. The band has set a goal of completing writing for the new record by the end of the summer. As of this moment they have roughly 8 to 10 tracks that could make the final cut, but they intend to have double the material so that their producer, the legendary Bart Rose, can pull the best of the best. Right now the 8 to 10 they've got in our humble opinion would make the cut! By the beginning of September they will begin pre-production, working with Bart to make final changes to the songs and selecting the tracks they intend to bring into the recording studio, followed by a month or so of rehearsal prep to be ready to lay tape. So, expect recording to begin towards the end of the year with the goal of releasing the next album in early 2013. And the band has some great plans in place for that, including a pretty extensive online campaign, including free downloads and tracks that don't make the final album cut will be part of material you'll have access to. In the meantime, along with writing for the new album, shows across the U.S. are in the works so look for Chemical Tree to wind up around your town sometime soon. 02-04-12: Thank you everyone for coming out and showing your support of Chemical Tree! It was a great show and all of the bands did a great job. Hats off to Pit, opening up the night in hardcore fashion. To the guys in Silvertonguedevil, it's always a pleasure to share the stage with ya and once more you brought your A GAME. And to Todd and the guys in Mobile Death Camp - holy shit that was a hell of a show. All told all the bands had great sets and we were pushed as always to give our best by playing with some of the best out there. 01-15-12: Well, here we are. It's 2012. Where is John Cusack when you need him? And where are they building the arks? Some disaster movie this turned out to be. Let's just crank the amps, juice the tramps, and fly us all to the moon.
